Helping you engage in what matters most
Supporting children, teens, and young adults to build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive in everyday life.
The story behind Crossword Therapy
Crossword Therapy was created with a simple idea in mind: every individual has unique strengths, and sometimes they just need the right support to help everything come together.
I’m Meera, an occupational therapist based in Toronto working with children, teens, young adults, and their families to support everyday skills, independence, and confidence. My approach is collaborative, practical, and family-centred. I believe the most meaningful progress happens when therapy fits naturally into daily routines, home life, and community settings.
Through my clinical work and doctoral research in rehabilitation sciences at the University of Toronto, I’ve seen how important it is for families to feel supported, heard, and included in the therapy process. That perspective shapes how I work, focusing not just on skill development, but on helping parents and caregivers feel confident supporting their child or teen.
Whether we’re working on self-care, emotional regulation, motor skills, executive functioning, or participation at home, school, or work, the goal is always the same: helping kids, teens, and young adults do more of what matters to them.
